Effective terms

Terms of service

Effective August 8, 2026. Version 2026-08-08.

1. The product

Jobwright is a local-first desktop tool for a job search. It can find roles, prepare documents, fill forms, and show evidence. It uses AI agents and external services that the customer chooses.

Jobwright does not act as an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, lawyer, tax adviser, or immigration adviser.

2. AI output and mistakes

AI agents can produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable output. They can misunderstand a role, a candidate fact, a question, or a website.

The customer must check candidate information and configure each submission mode with care. Jobwright does not guarantee an interview, an offer, employment, eligibility, or a response from an employer.

3. Submission modes

Review mode stops before each final application submission. Search & Apply can submit an application or create an exact job-search reminder without another confirmation when the action matches an active campaign mandate that the customer accepted.

Before Search & Apply starts, the customer must set and accept the mandate scope, approved CVs, permitted answer categories, daily limit, and expiration. The customer can pause the campaign or revoke the mandate. Account actions, messages, assessments, public profile changes, and unknown or sensitive questions remain outside the mandate.

4. Search & Apply risks

AI agents and job sites can make mistakes. Search & Apply can send an incorrect, duplicate, unwanted, late, or incomplete application or reminder. A job site can reject automated activity, restrict an account, or change its rules. A submitted application can be difficult or impossible to withdraw.

The customer is responsible for the mandate scope, candidate information, provider accounts, and compliance with applicable job-site rules. Jobwright does not guarantee accuracy, delivery, employer action, interviews, employment, or continued account access.

5. License and devices

A founding purchase grants a limited, perpetual license to use Jobwright V1 on one active device at a time. It includes product updates for 12 months after purchase. A founding customer does not have to buy a later subscription to keep using V1.

A monthly subscription grants access while the paid period or payment grace period is active. When access ends, Jobwright keeps local data in read-only mode. The customer can read, export, or delete that data.

The customer can use the same product key on a new device. The new activation replaces the prior active device. The license does not include the customer's AI subscriptions, provider charges, internet service, or third-party accounts.

6. Customer duties

The customer must provide information that the customer has the right to use. The customer must follow applicable law and the rules of each AI provider, connector, employer, and job site.

The customer must not use Jobwright for fraud, impersonation, spam, discrimination, unauthorized access, malware, or false applications.

7. Third-party services

AI providers, Stripe, job sites, employers, and connected services operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Jobwright does not control their availability, decisions, or output.

A reference to a third-party product does not mean that the third party endorses Jobwright.

8. Payment, refunds, and consumer rights

Stripe processes payment. The price, currency, billing interval, update period, and taxes shown at checkout apply to the purchase.

A subscription renews each month until it is canceled. A failed renewal has a seven-day payment grace period. Cancellation ends paid access at the end of the current paid period.

Refunds and withdrawal rights follow the policy shown at purchase and the law that applies to the customer. These terms do not remove a statutory consumer right or remedy.

9. Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobwright is provided as available. Jobwright does not promise that the product will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every website, or suitable for every job search.

This disclaimer does not exclude a warranty, guarantee, or duty that applicable law does not allow Jobwright to exclude.

10. Liability limit

Subject to applicable law, Jobwright excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss. Jobwright caps its other liability at the amount paid for the Jobwright license.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jobwright is not liable for losses caused by a customer-authorized Search & Apply mandate, an employer decision, or a third-party account restriction.

This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it. It does not limit liability for fraud or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Suspension and ending use

Jobwright can suspend a license for a refund, charge dispute, fraud, security risk, or material breach of these terms. A customer can cancel a subscription through the payment service. The customer can stop using Jobwright and remove local data from the app.

Clauses that by their nature continue after use ends can continue, subject to applicable law.
